DId anyone take up the ewe genomic test through the Sheep CRC (or it may have been MerinoSelect?). Any thoughts or feedback?
Is it still available?
yes its still available. I cannot recommend it enough if you are using ASBV as a tool for ram purchases. It allows you to more closely tailor your ram team to make genetic gain as you know where your ewe flock sits, rather than assuming they have a specific merit. (This gives you greater scope to apply visual selection as the short list of rams in a sale can be sorted pre sale and then you can work out which ones tick the visual boxes at the right price).
